History: This is not Freddy Krueger. This is actually a centuries-old demon that has taken on the form of countless monsters and villains across mythology and folklore. It has haunted Wes Craven for some time, and only the movies that Wes makes about Freddy are holding him back. But now that the franchise is over, there's nothing keeping this demon from rising in the real world and haunting Heather Langenkamp, Nancy's original actress.
Notable Kills: Nothing special...unless you count a mechanical claw prop going nuts on somebody!
Final Fate: After the demon trys to drag Heather's kid into a furnace, the tables are turned when she manages to get him in there instead. He starts transforming into his true form in a fit of rage before being banished back to Hell, presumably forever. Oh, and a new script has been written, cementing his imprisonment.
Powers/Abilities: Shapeshifting and reality warping.
Weakness: Stories about the villains he plays as keep him at bay. Acting them out to defeat him even more so.
Scariness Factor: 4.5-If this being truly existed, then we would instantly forgive most film companies for extending their franchises for too long. Not only are the implications of his existence terrifying, but his performance as Freddy is pretty much Wes' original vision. That being a cold, ferocious killer with little humor to spare. The humor he does have comes off as more creepy and horrible than anything.
Trivia: -In spite of being the lowest grossing film to be associated with the "Elm Street" franchise, it is often considered to be the most well-made.
-In a darkly humorous mishap, the film was struck mid-production by earthquakes, which Wes decided to weave into the plot. Perhaps the demon truly was breaking free...
